As regulations announced at the Official Communication No.1 circulated on 6th December 2018 (click here for more information), the seeding of each team is based on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Ranking as of 16th July 2019, with exception of the host country (Seed #1). The points obtained by the best ranked team of each National Federation in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Ranking list (as of 16th July 2019) will be used as the seeding points for their National Federation in the tournament.
